Bus Service
The school bus service operates in the morning and afternoon. Children living in the Lower Valley may utilize the bus service for a nominal monthly fee. The bus makes several stops: Please call (509) 575-5557 for more information.
After School Child Care Program
The After School Child Care provides licensed supervision for students in Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade. It is located in the Mother Joseph Center. The hours are 3:15 PM to 6:15 PM. When we have an early release day, the times are 11:30 – 6:15. The After School Care Program provides time for homework, creative play and a healthy snack. There is a registration fee and an hourly rate is charged.
Hot Lunch Program
Hot lunch is provided each full school day. A menu is sent home at the beginning of each month. All students may participate in the federally funded government lunch program. Reduced price and free lunches are available if a family meets the requirements. Lunches must be pre-paid in the St. Joseph Office. There is a salad bar available daily for students in the fourth through eighth grades. A Swak lunch is also available for second and third grades. Hot lunch, salad bar and Swak are all the same price.
Peace Partner Program
One of the delights of the students from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade is having a yearlong friend called a Peace Partner. A very special bond develops between the older and the younger student.
There are special times when they are together, i.e. sit together in liturgies, special lunches, fun activities, work together on religious education projects, and celebrations. On special days, they exchange gifts or plan surprises for each other.
