Registration Information
Why A Catholic School
A Catholic School, and St. Joseph/Marquette School in particular, blends
the importance of academic excellence with the teachings of a gospel-oriented
education. A child attending St. Joseph/Marquette benefits from an outstanding
educational staff, dedicated to providing the finest in spiritual and
academic development.
In addition, Christian values and morals are integrated throughout each
subject area, encouraging children to see the importance of respect, ethics
and good citizenship throughout each of their activities all of their
lives. At St. Joseph/Marquette, the total child is educated.
Registration Process
New Families
The registration process for a new family begins once the family calls
or visits the school to inquire about St. Joseph/Marquette. Our registrar
will encourage families to arrange a time to take a personal tour of the
school, to learn first hand about the environment, the campus, the academic
and religious programs. Following the tour the family will receive an
informational packet which will contain a brochure about the school, curriculum
information for their child’s specific grade level, and financial
papers.
Once a family has decided that they would like to enroll their child
at St. Joseph/Marquette Catholic School, they should call the registrar
to place their name on a registration list. We begin placing families
on our registration list on the first school day in January.
Once our current family re-registration is completed, new families will
be contacted to complete the enrollment process. This process may include
a classroom visit, a tour of the school (if not done previously), a personal
visit with the principal. Once this is completed the family will be accepted
into our school community. The family will complete the financial portion
of the registration process: registration fees, promissory note, and registration
forms including the child’s immunization records, baptismal and/or
birth record.
Current Families
Registration for current families begins on the second week of February.
Following a mandatory parent meeting, re-registration packets are distributed
to each family. Families complete the re-registration form and return
it along with the registration fees to the main office. Included in the
packet is the promissory note which families use to select their tuition
level, payment schedule, and indicate the appropriate fees for their children.
